We already know that Will Smith won't be returning as Deadshot in James Gunn's Suicide Squad 2, but we think the perfect replacement is in negotiations right now to take over the role: IDRIS ELBA!!
Sources are saying that Elba recently met with Gunn earlier this week to talk about him taking over the role and apparently he was Gunn's "first and only choice" as a replacement.
While we don't know a lot about the next Suicide Squad movie we do know that it's being discussed as a "soft relaunch" of the series with different DC characters instead of a sequel because James Gunn will be taking over.
