Doggie Day Swim 2024 returns to D.C. Saturday, Sept. 7th from 11 am to 4 pm at four different pools around the district.
- Francis Pool (2435 N Street NW)
- Langdon Park Pool (2860 Mills Avenue NE)
- Ridge Road Pool (830 Ridge Road SE)
- Upshur Pool (4300 Arkansas Avenue NW)
All dog owners will need to follow these rules during the event:
- Dog handlers must be 16 years of age or older.
- Dog handlers cannot swim or enter the pool with their dogs.
- Dogs must be sociable and remain leashed while on the pool deck.
- All dogs must be current on vaccinations including rabies and distemper.
- All dogs must be spayed/neutered.
The event is free but attendees must register (REGISTER HERE). All dogs must have a valid dog license and tag issued by D.C. Health. Photocopies will not be accepted.
