The numbers are accurate. According to data released by our sources at Asos, in the last month, there has been a 98% increase in the number of on-site searches for "butter yellow." The majority of us have already noticed that the hue is on TikTok's #foryoupage.
In addition, butter yellow has been seen on some of the biggest names in fashion in recent months, including Sabrina Carpenter, this summer's singer-sweetheart, Hailey Beiber, and Emily Ratajawkowski.
Yellow is a typical spring-summer color, but I think the reason we’re seeing so much of it right now is that we’ve been primed by all of the mustard yellow fall-winter pieces we’ve seen the last year and we just want to embrace our soft girl era finally!
