Kristi Moe founded 'Zodica' to help people find the right scent for their star sign, but it's possible to also attract a partner by catering to their rising sign... and you can even create a 'love blend.' However, many people, including scientists, aren't sure if wearing scents with pheromones' actually helps attract someone, and some think it could be a placebo effect. So, could it be poosible that it could work to cater your scent to a potential partner's zodiac sign instead?
Zodica Perfumery's website explains, 'the collection is designed to be worn in three ways: by sign, by season or by attraction.' Through blind scent tests, the brand worked with a panel of women representing each sign of the zodiac to co-create the formulae. The women were asked to sample various scent notes and rank them according to preference. During the experiment, Kristi labeled the scent notes numerically so participants wouldn't be biased and choose what they usually preferred.
Once they received the data, they found patterns from the blind studies - people born in the same season all enjoyed the same scent profiles, with an 80 percent chance of liking their sign's scent.
Because of the study, Kristi recommends wearing your partner's sun sign scent, since it's almost a guarantee they'll appreciate it. Kristi suggested trying out your potential partner's moon or Venus sign scent, 'as astrologers look to those placements when assessing romantic compatibility.'
