A Virginia teacher named Erica Hosken recently donated her waist-length hair to Children With Hair Loss through The Great Cut event, benefiting children facing medical hair loss.
The hair donations support children who have experienced bullying due to hair loss, providing them with wigs, bringing them renewed confidence and emotional relief.The event, which set a world record in 2019 for the largest hair donation in 24 hours, brings in hundreds of pounds of hair for children's wigs each year.
They’re hoping to break that record this year and if you want there is still time to participate: mail your hair by March 16 to The Great Cut 2024.
