Do you want to see the Cherry Blossoms, but don't want to wait or deal with the crowds of the Tidal Basin?
There's another spot you can check out the blooms & get all the pics: National Harbor. There are more than 200 Okame cherry trees which bloom earlier than the ones in D.C.
National Harbor has actually Tweeted that their trees already have buds on them and should be blooming SOON! The National Harbor’s Cherry Blossom festivities run March 20 through April 14th with a lot of events, entertainment, and more. They are even lighting up the Capital Wheel Pink for their "Pink Out"

If you're wanting to see the Cherry blossoms in the Tidal Basin too, the National Cherry Blossom Festival is happening March 20 - April 14, 2024. The National Mall NPS says they will make their Peak Bloom announcement on February 29th.
