Some people want to buried in the traditional way when they die. Others want their ashes spread across their favorite places or in the ocean.... Some want to send their DNA to space so aliens can clone them int he future.
Apparently Space Burials are on the rise and it'll cost you about $13,000.
The company Celestis specializes in sending human remains and ashes on a rocket flight to space. Rates start at $2,495, with a trip to the moon's surface or deeper in space costing you about $13,000.
Celestis has been around since 1994 and has launched 17 “memorial” spaceflights. The next memorial takes off on Christmas Eve.
Not only can you send your loved one to space, you can fly with them!
