A Tampa couple went viral for the SWEETEST story ever.
Dr. Thomas McMeekin and Nancy Gambell met in high school in California, dated in college, broke up and went their separate ways. Then they saw each other at a class reunion 10 years ago. Both were married, so nothing ever happened.
Over 60 years after their first connection, Dr. McMeekin reconnected with Nancy, who lives in California. Last week, she flew to Tampa International Airport to see him, and proposed!!!! She said yes, and now they're planning a new life together in California. The 78-year-old McMeekin says to find love again at his age is just incredible, and he encourages others to have hope because there's always a chance.
