Listening To Sad Music Can Help You More During A Breakup

According to new research listening to sad music can actually help you heal after a breakup faster than any other type of music!

New research suggests that crying it out to one of your favorite sad songs will actually make you feel better during a breakup or at anytime you need a mood-booster.

The study says that it takes truly sad songs to have a therapeutic impact and it depends on your experiences with said song whether you had a moment singing the song, have a personal connection to the artist, or anything else.

Just think of the next time you put on Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World's "Say Something" that it might sound sad that you're singing it, but it's actually healing you emotionally and that's all the matters!
