Traveling for the holidays and worried about getting your holiday leftovers or cookies through airport security? Turns out there's a popular hack you can try to get your through the security checkpoint!

According to the TSA, if you want to travel with food or drinks the item has to be solid so that it can go through a checkpoint. The TSA also allows you to carry "spreadables" up to 3.4-ounces through security, which is where the hack comes to play.

Apparently you can freeze your holiday leftovers, even if they have a ton of liquid, and as long as it's frozen through security then you shouldn't have that many problems getting it to your destination.

TSA did mention that if said food or drink melts before getting through that it will be taken, but just make sure to plan your trip accordingly and get your frozen leftovers to the airport in time!
