Shawn and Cassidy have known each other for over a year because they have the same circle of friends, but Shawn recently asked Cassidy out after they both had good conversations with one another with just themselves. They went out for dinner and drinks and Shawn thought things went well and he even got the approval from their friends to take things to the next level. However, ever since their date, Shawn hasn’t heard back from Cassidy in over two weeks even though they both had hung out with their friends in a group setting. When they hung out Cassidy seemed cold towards Shawn and the vibe seems different now.
