Do you still have something you got from an Ex? According to a new poll 2 out of 3 people still have something that belonged to their ex or a gift their ex gave them. More than four in 10 people admit they have more than one item from a past relationship.
The most common mementos people say they kept are
- Love letters (50%)
- Photos (46%)
- Jewelry (43%).
Why are people keeping these items? The survey asked them that too and they found
- Because of the fond memories attached to them (44%)
- It's functional (38%)
- They believe the item defines a specific chapter in their lives (30%)
- Because they still miss then (25%)
Most people say they don't hide these items from their new partner, but 37% confess that they intentionally try to hide it from their new partner.
