You might want to go ahead and book that flight you're looking at for later in the year because prices are only going to go up according to multiple reports!
According to the Consumer Airfare Index Report, released by travel app Hopper, both domestic AND international airfares are currently at record lows but are expected to rise by an average of at least 7% per month by June.
Hopper also says that the steepest single-month increase, around 11%, is expected in March right before spring break for most colleges.
So it might be time to go ahead and book that August trip out of the DMV to save yourself some money!
