Imagine your dog being able to video call you in the middle of the day. It might become a reality soon!
Scientists have created a prototype DogPhone device that can call you when the dog shakes a ball. The ball contains an accelerometer which, when motion is detected, connects to a computer and video calls the owner.
The team behind the invention said the DogPhone could help address the separation anxiety of pets who have grown used to having people at home during the COVID pandemic.
