If you're planning on taking some post-pandemic photos to update your dating profile, then you might want to borrow your friend's nice car because a new study reveals the car you drive actually matters!
A new study found that the more expensive a car looks in your profile photo, the more matches you can get on a dating app. Researchers created 70 different fake profiles on dating apps featuring pictures of people posing next to different types of cars and saw that people with cheaper cars got less matches compared to those with a Tesla or Porsche in their profile.
Now this doesn't mean your necessarily going to be finding love based on the car in your dating profile, but most people usually assume that if someone has a nice car that they not only have a lot of money, but they know how to spend it.
