If you're planning on buying something from an auction then make sure you are can understand what the auctioneer is saying the entire time or you'll end up like this Canadian couple who accidentally bought the wrong house in an auction.

The couple wanted to buy a home in Glasgow, Scotland so they traveled to Scotland to purchase a home from an auction, but because they couldn't fully understand the auctioneer because of his thick Scottish accent.

They ended up bidding on a house nobody was interested in and thought that it was the house they actually wanted, but it was too late and they ended up with a home that had been abandoned for twenty years and had holes in the roof.

Luckily for them, the husband is a carpenter so they are documenting their renovations on their Instagram, which you can see the latest post below or go HERE to see how far they've come!
