'Exercise Snacking' Is The New Trick To Help You Get Back In Shape

We're all a little out of shape compared to where we were a year ago before the pandemic, but it turns out there is an easy way to start getting back on track for your fitness goals and it's called "exercise snacking!"

Unfortunately, it's not eating small snacks during your workout, but is actually doing small micro-workouts throughout the day to get you used to going back to the gym for longer amounts of time.

30 minutes on the treadmill used to be a breeze, but nowadays it's a little harder just because of the pandemic, but new research finds that breaking up prolonged sitting with short activity breaks - like a two-minute walk or a set of squats can help stabilize blood sugar levels.

Another study shows that people who did three intermittent bouts of stair-climbing a day also got a cardiovascular boost similar to one they’d get from a longer moderate-intensity workout.

"Exercise snacking" can be any type of workout that you do in small increments throughout the day, but essentially add up to the same amount of time you would spend at the gym in one visit!

Also if you want to eat during your workout then we won't judge you!!
