How Much Do You Love Your Jeans?

While everyone has different tastes when it comes to clothes, most people have at least one pair of jeans in their closet, and a new survey reveals just how popular denim has become in the U.S.

The survey finds that 84% of people say jeans are an important part of their style, with most people owning an average of nine pairs, four of which they wear regularly, with one in 12 people say they wear their jeans every day.

As for what constitutes the perfect pair of jeans, well, the survey suggests they are straight leg, with a light wash finish, and cost about $79.

And with jeans so important to people, how they take care of them is pretty crucial, and there is apparently a huge debate regarding how regularly they need to be washed. The average American washes their favorite jeans about 20 times a year, although one in nine adults admit to only washing their jeans once a year.
