There’s no doubt that society has transformed along with modern technology… but it could be changing your physical appearance, too. A new study by researchers at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia has found that all that screen time can cause you to grow “horns.”
Well, kind of. If you spend a lot of time looking down at your phone, not to worry – you won’t be sprouting horns out of your forehead anytime soon. But you may develop bone spur on the back of your skull, which is what researchers have found is happening to people the more screen time they get.
When you look down at the screen, weight goes from your spine to the muscles in the back of your head. That causes bones to grow, causing little horn-like spikes that have been found more prominently in young adults.
