There's nothing wrong with having a “Plan B,” just in case your date doesn't work out.Hey...we're just keeping our options open, right?Maybe.
We might actually be experiencing the "back-burner burden." This just means that we need a backup in case you break our heart. We’re in too deep for that!
Although this may be a temporary fix, we're not facing the main issues – akaour insecurities and discomfort.
What to do? Firstly? RECOGNIZE! And then…
- Allow yourself to get excited about someone.- Be vulnerable for a change.
- Don’t mute your fears.- Know that you may get rejected, but you've got to face it head on.
- See everyone as your teacher.- You never know what you can learn from others.
Your date deserves all of you, not 50%...and seriously…don’t you want the same from them?
