Stanford neuroscientist, Andrew Huberman, has revealed the "perfect" morning routine. He says that this morning routine will "make you better at everything."
Andrew Huberman's rules for the perfect morning routine:
- Wake up no later than 6.30am
- Soak up natural light within an hour of waking up by doing a 10-minute walk outside - even if it is cloudy
- Delay caffeine intake for 90 to 120 minutes after getting up
- Drink water with electrolytes
- Fast until 11 or 12 o'clock
- Finish 90 minutes of focused work
- Do some form of physical exercise for about an hour
- Undergo deliberate cold exposure - perhaps in the form of an ice bath
Huberman also noted the importance of sleep. You can check out his video explaining the "Optimal Morning Routine" HERE:
