Carr Fire Rages In Northern California
The Carr Fire is burning near the Northern California city of Redding has scorched over 103-thousand acres since starting one week ago.
Its the state's 9th largest fire in history. The blaze is so hot and so large that it’s creatuing its own localized weather system.

Moonves Stays In Place As CBS Investigates Misconduct Allegations

Liquids and laptops may soon be allowed to stay in carry-on bags
TSA announced that they are testing X-ray scanning equipment that creates 3D images that can be analyzed on three axes for explosives and other threats. The CT technology is similar to that used for medical imaging. Current screening machines for carry-on bags generate 2D images.

Canada Dry Ginger Ale Sued For Not Having Ginger In It
Canada Dry is being sued for the apparent lack of ginger in their ginger ale. Julie Fletcher filed a federal lawsuit in Buffalo, New York claiming that Canada Dry and its parent company Dr. Pepper Snapple Group misled customers. The suit alleges that customers were led to believe the ginger ale contained real ginger, but instead it only contains "a minuscule amount of ginger flavor extract."
