Apple Plans Second U.S. Campus

Apple says it's on track to open a second campus in the U.S. that will pour billions of dollars into the economy.

In a statement issued yesterday, the company said it "plans to establish an Apple campus in a new location, which will initially house technical support for customers." The location of the new facility will be announced later this year.

Apple says they plan to contribute $350-billion dollars to the U.S. economy over the next five years, creating 20-thousand new jobs in the process. This will be accomplished through hiring at existing campuses and opening the new one.

H&M appoints diversity leader after outcry over racially insensitive photo

H&M says it has appointed a diversity leader following the outcry over its ad that showed an African American child dressed in a hoodie with the words “coolest monkey in the jungle.”

They announced it on  Facebook that its “commitment to addressing diversity and inclusiveness is genuine, therefore we have appointed a global leader, in this area, to drive our work forward.”

Target’s New Denim Brand Is Made For All Sizes

There’s a new denim brand to get excited about. Target’s "Universal Thread" is a size-inclusive line of tops, bags, and shoes, and jeans that come in sizes 00 to 26W.

Universal Thread will also feature eco-friendly options, some of the jeans will have pockets made from recycled plastic bottles and will be made with a dyeing process that uses less water, chemicals, and energy. And the brand will also offer recycled denim jeans.

Parents Claim Their Daughter Suffered Terrifying Side Effects After Taking Tamiflu

Yikes this is so scary as a parent! 

One Texas family is claiming that a common flu medication caused their daughter to experience dangerous psychotic symptoms after taking it. The 6-year-old was allegedly given Tamiflu,  Her family says that after taking the medicine, she experienced hallucinations, unusual behavior, and what they believe was an attempt to harm herself.

Hundreds Of Flights Canceled As Record-Breaking Cold Hits U.S. South

States of emergency were declared in Georgia, North Carolina and Louisiana due to the severe winter weather.

A bitter winter storm gripped much of the South on Wednesday, prompting schools to close and causing thousands of flight delays and cancellations as snow, ice and record-breaking cold hit the region.

The storm led to a least one death when a vehicle in Austin, Texas, plunged more than 30 feet off a frozen overpass late on Tuesday, killing a man in his 40s.
