Doctor says people needing care should 'abandon the island' after Puerto Rico’s medical system crippled by hurricane Maria. The hospitals have very limited power, only being supported but generators, and no air conditioning. The operating rooms are flooded with inches of water making it dangerous for patients and doctors.

Uber CEO apologizes to Londoners: 'We got things wrong'
Perhaps Uber wont be going away in London after all...
London's transport authority announced Friday that it would not renew Uber's license when it expires at the end of this month, saying the company was not "fit and proper" to operate in the city. Transport for London (TfL) said it didn't like the company's approach to reporting serious crimes.
Now Uber's new CEO issued an apology to Londoners saying "While Uber has revolutionized the way people move in cities around the world, it's equally true that we've got things wrong along the way. On behalf of everyone at Uber globally, I apologize for the mistakes we've made."
Uber has said it plans to challenge the decision in court. It also started a petition urging London mayor Sadiq Khan to keep Uber in the city. By Monday, more than 760,000 people had signed it.

Target raises its minimum wage to $11 and hour
Target for the win!
Target said on Monday it would increase its minimum hourly wage this year by a dollar to $11, vowing to raise this by the end of 2020 to $15 an hour. They employs more than more than 323,000 people, said the $11 hourly wage would also apply to the more than 100,000 workers Target is hiring for the holiday season.

So if you live in Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, or Washington, your driver's license doesn't meet new federal security requirements. That means that when you go to the airport, even if you're traveling within the United States, you have to use an alternative form of identification, like a passport, military ID, or permanent resident card.
