The New iPhone 8 Rumors Are Here and They're Not Great
It looks like we are going to be waiting a while for the new iPhone 8.
Reports are the phone won't ship until the first quarter of fiscal 2018, which would mean October to November. People are also not pleased about the changes to the phone either. It looks like the white color will no longer be an option. Also the Touch ID feature is most likely cancelled, because it won't be on the power button and the chance of its inclusion in-screen is slim. It's possible/rumored that the Touch ID would be replaced with a facial recognition technology called ‘Face ID’. Not to mention its going to be around $1400.

Judge orders FAA to investigate seat room on flights
Finally...a little bit of good news about flying.
A judge ordered the FAA to investigate whether airlines that have shrunk the size of and distance between seats are creating a safety hazard for passengers. The decision came after an airline passenger advocacy group, Flyers Rights, petitioned the FAA to investigate whether airlines had created a health or safety hazard by systematically moving seats closer and closer together to pack more people onto flights.

Doctor Will Provide Free Surgeries For Trans Military Personnel
A former Navy surgeon said that because of President Donald Trump's announcement of a ban on transgender military serving in the armed services, she will waive the cost of gender confirmation services for some military personnel. Dr. Christine McGinn, who is also transgender said "If the commander-in-chief won’t take care of our veterans, our veterans will. I will do surgery for free on the number of people that I have already lined up for surgery,” she said. She added that she’s “more than happy” to do so.

Miss Teen USA Is Crowned, and She's a Super Impressive Human Being
This girl is a bawse!
On Saturday Miss Missouri Sophia Dominguez-Heithoff was crowned Miss Teen USA! She is one amazing 17 year old. Sophia slayed in the Q&A portion of the competition, sharing that she she lobbied the Missouri legislature to pass a law to help adults with developmental disabilities during her time in the Girl Scouts. WOW!

McDonald's Is Bringing Back Its Value Menu
Mickey D's got rid of its value menu in 2016 but now they are bringing it back! McDonald's is reportedly working on a revamped value menu. It won't be as cheap as the Dollar Menu, but it will feature lower-cost items and deals. The newest version of the value menu to launch in late 2017 or early 2018 and feature foods at $1, $2, and $3 price points.
