First Woman Applies To Become Navy SEAL

BAD ASS!!!!!


Two women are the first women to enlist as candidates to join the Navy's special operations teams. One of those women hopes to become an elite Navy SEAL and the other wants to join the Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewman program. Candidates have to undergo extensive training and physical testing before they can succeed and only about a fifth to a quarter of candidates make it through SEAL training. They've all been men, but the positions were opened up to women in early 2016. No women had applied until now.

They are straight out of Japan and they are officially named Officially named the Gateau Mignon. The new candy took Japanese pastry chef Yasumasa Takagi over one year to develop in order to create a fondant cake with the perfect amount of texture to balance the sweetness of the bar's others ingredients. Three bars will set you back $13 and six will cost $26.

Disastrous 'Pokémon Go' Fest ends with anger and refunds

Pokemon Go's anniversary didn't go well.

Attendees at the Pokémon Go Fest in Chicago on Saturday were met with a bunch of issues. Players waited in lines that stretched for blocks to enter Grant Park. Some attendees on Twitter said they waited for two hours just to get in. The large, concentrated group of players all trying to connect to the game's servers at the same time appears to have overwhelmed the game and local cell towers.

Too Much Driving Can Affect Your Brain

Well this must suck for truckers.

"A study out of England suggests that driving more than two hours a day can increase the aging process of the brain. The study found that drivers who spend two to three hours a day behind the wheel already had lower brain power to begin with, but in addition, their IQ scores decreased faster than those who didn’t drive, or did less driving. Researchers suggest it could be because our brain is inactive during the drive, or the stress and fatigue caused by driving could lead to cognitive decline."
