Amazon Looking At Record Setting Prime Day
I swore I wouldn't buy anything for Amazon Prime Day but I caved ad bought two pairs of shoes. Oh well, they were cute and cheap!
Amazon is on track for record-breaking sales on its Prime Day. The online retail giant said customers ordered more than three times as many Echo speakers than last year, which set a record at the time for Amazon tech devices. They also sold over 50% more items by noon than during the same time period last year. The company has not disclosed sales numbers, but estimates show it will be the biggest single sales day in Amazon's history.

Paris and Los Angeles set to get 2024 and 2028 Olympics
The International Olympic Committee voted unanimously Tuesday to break with tradition and award two games at once. Paris and Los Angeles are probably getting the Summer Olympics for 2024 and 2028. It's just not clear which city will host in which year.

Takata adds 2.7M airbags to 42 million recalls
Oh man this is scary.
Airbag manufacturer Takata has recalled 2.7 million airbags, joining 42 million affected vehicles in the largest safety notice ever in the automobile industry, because of a new hazard. The latest recalls announced Tuesday involve Ford, Nissan and Mazda models from 2005 to 2012. At least 17 deaths worldwide, including 12 in the United States, have been linked to Takata inflaters.

Ring the Alarm: Chipotle Might Be Adding Queso to Its Menu
All hail Chipotle!
Starting July 10, people can order queso and other new menu items at the Chipotle NEXT Kitchen at 504 Sixth Ave. in New York.
"All of our competitors sell queso, and we know some customers don't come to Chipotle because we don't offer it," Chipotle CEO Steve Ells said.
In addition to serving queso, the Chipotle NEXT Kitchen will also debut a salad with an avocado citrus dressing, plus frozen margaritas including a classic version with blanco tequila as well as a virgin strawberry margarita.
