Dog meat to be banned from annual festival in China

The very though of this stupid festival breaks my heart. But this is some good news in the right direction. 

Dog meat sales have been banned at China's annual Yulin festival in June and traders could face fines of more than $10,000 for breaking the new rules.Dog meat sales are also prohibited a week before June 21, when the festival begins, and violators would face fines of $15,000, according to the activists.

McDonald's Is Bringing Back the Rolo McFlurry Just In Time for Summer

And now I'm hungry. The Rolo McFlurry, which made a limited-time debut in 2011 and its back for a limited time! You can snag one from May 24 to Sept. 11. And McDonald's switched up their vanilla soft serve and we didn't even know about it. The initiative to go preservative-free began last fall with vanilla soft serve, and the company says the process of switching over is complete in nearly all restaurants across the country.

A Café Is Charging $50 to Drink Coffee Surrounded by Rats

The place is called Black Rat Café, and it's happening a California performance hall that takes customers through San Fransisco's history via a guided tour hosted by professional actors. The tour typically focuses on events from the Gold Rush to Alcatraz, and they were inspired by the bubonic plague. For $50 you get unlimited food and drinks...and rats.
