I have a rule since becoming a mother. If I didn't give birth to a child, then I have no business judging how it's raised. As moms we all too often get judged based on the decisions that we know are best for our families. Now don't get me wrong, when your a fellow parent and you have friendly advice for me I'll happily listen and evaluate what I need to tune out and what just needs to recycled out of my eardrums. But f you tell me I didn't try hard enough because I gave up breastfeeding after 3 months because I wasn't producing enough, the side eye will be real. Being a mom is no joke and we all deserve medals for it. Ones that come with a certificate that reads "Even though your hair is almost always a mess you have never been more beautiful. You are succeeding in the most important job on the planet. GOOD JOB MOM!"
