Mattel Apologizes For Misprint on Wicked Movie Dolls Leading to Adult Site

Uh oh.

Mattel is in trouble after they accidentally printed the wrong website on the back of their "Wicked" movie Dolls of Ariana Grande (Glinda) and Cynthia Erivo (Elphaba).

The website was supposed direct people to the WickedMovie.com website, however, the misprint directed people to an adult website.

Mattel said in a statement shared with CNN, quote:

“Mattel was made aware of a misprint on the packaging of the Mattel Wicked collection dolls, primarily sold in the U.S., which intended to direct consumers to the official WickedMovie.com landing page. We deeply regret this unfortunate error and are taking immediate action to remedy this. Parents are advised that the misprinted, incorrect website is not appropriate for children.”

Mattel also suggests that parents who already bought the dolls toss out the packaging or cover up the website.

You just know that these misprinted packages are going to sell for a lot of money some day.
