We've seen some weird street names during our drives home, but this neighborhood in Las Vegas might have the best street names of all time because they're named after Pokémon!
A neighborhood in Henderson, Nevada, which is right outside Las Vegas, just revealed that every street in its new development called Serenity Place will be named after famous Pokémon from the anime and game's first generation like Jigglypuff, Squirtle, Snorlax, Charmander, and Charizard.
The weird thing is that to create street names, a developer has to figure out the number of streets and then submit double that number of names, so they may pass jurisdiction and somehow the Pokémon street names made the cut.
Apparently, the neighborhood developers had their kids share their ideas for the street names which is how they came to be and you can even find the development on Google Maps using Snorlax Lane or Jigglypuff Place.
Can't wait for everyone above the age of 40 to have a hard time spelling or even saying these street names in the near future!
