This might not be the weirdest beauty trend we've seen, but it certainly have us doing double-takes because fake belly button stickers are trending in 2023!
The stickers are apparently all the rage in China as a growing number of women are using them to make their legs look longer with high-waisted pants.
Apparently the stickers cost from $0.70 to $1.40 for the sheets that are essentially temporary tattoos designed to look like belly buttons. The stickers are usually placed a few centimeters above a person's real belly button, which is then concealed with skirts or pants.
Belly button sticker manufacturers are struggling to keep up with demand and social media platforms like Xiaohongshu and TikTok are being flooded with video tutorials on how to use the temporary tattoos before going out.
