While summer is usually the time a TON of people go on vacation to relax, it turns out a lot of singles this year are looking for romance according to Bumble!
A new report from Bumble found that %3% of singles are hoping for romance while on vacation this summer and that a trend called "wanderlove" is on the rise in 2023.
It's not a new term, but it is making a comeback this year as many singles are finding love, or at least are hooking up with other people, while they travel and we're here for it!
The report also found that 21% of singles are more attracted to people from different places and the best part of a "wanderlove" hookup is that you don't necessarily need to keep things going after your vacation is over.
Bumble list the top destinations users are going this summer so you can expect a lot of hookups in these places:
- Greek Islands (Santorini, Rhodes, Hydra)
- Balearic Islands, Spain (Mallorca, Ibiza, Formentera)
- Paris, France
- Amalfi Coast, Italy
- Lisbon, Portugal
