Cue the John Williams score because James Gunn has finally found his Superman and Lois Lane for his upcoming Superman reboot!
Yesterday James Gunn confirmed that David Corenswet, who you might have seen in Pearl or in Netflix's The Politician, will be playing Clark Kent and Superman and that Rachel Brosnahan, who you've seen in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, will play Lois Lane.
The film is tentatively called Superman: Legacy and is scheduled to release in theaters on July 11, 2025, but Corenswet and Brosnahan will actually be the fourth pair of actors to play Superman and Lois Lane in a live-action film.
According to Deadline, the next role Gunn is casting will be Superman's iconic villain Lex Luthor and Superman's best friend Jimmy Olsen.
