While it hasn't been that long since we saw the Guardians of the Galaxy in Thor: Love & Thunder, it has been over five years since they've had their own adventure in the MCU and this will all change when they get their own holiday special set in the MCU!
James Gunn announced that The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will arrive on Disney Plus on November 25th (aka Black Friday) with its first trailer for the Marvel Studios Special Presentation and be the perfect kickstart to the holiday season!
In the trailer, which you can see below, we learn that the Guardians are trying to cheer up Chris Pratt's Star-Lord with some holiday cheer, which leads to Drax and Mantis going on an adventure to kidnap Kevin Bacon for Christmas.
The even better part is that this will be a sample of what we can expect in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 which is set to release in theaters in May 2023. The holidays can't get here any sooner!
