An X-Wing From Star Wars Is Coming To The Air And Space Museum This Month

Get ready to visit the National Air and Space Museum in DC this fall because they just added a full-sized T-70 X-wing Starfighter to the museum!

The screen-used vehicle is on long-term loan from Lucasfilm and was seen in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker where it was flown by Oscar Isaac's character Poe Dameron.

The X-wing has primarily been housed at the Udvar-Hazy Center for restoration where you could actually see staff restore and conserve the vehicle so that it could be hung near the planetarium of the Air and Space Museum in DC.

You can see in the video below how the team was able to restore and hang the X-wing in the museum and if you're interested in seeing it in person you can get your FREE timed-entry pass for the museum HERE when it reopens on October 14th!
