We're one step closer to getting HBO's The Last of Us series in our lives because we FINALLY got the first trailer for the show earlier this week!
The series is created by Craig Mazin, who was the creator of HBO's Chernobyl, and will be led by Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) as Joel and Bella Ramsey (Lady Mormont from Game of Thrones) as Ellie.
While we don't know exactly when in 2023 the show will debut, we can at least be excited that Neil Druckmann, who was the Creative Director for the video game the show is based on, will serve as an Executive Producer on the series.
The first season of the show will have ten episodes and we assume there will at least be another season because of the video game's sequel. You can check out the trailer below and get ready for some zombie/clicker-goodness hopefully in the early part of 2023!
