One of the best questions you can ask someone to get to know them really quick is to ask, "which Hogwarts house do you belong to?" Whether it's Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, or Gryffindor you can basically assign traits to said person and US Dish took it one step further by sorting EVERY US state into their prospective Hogwarts Houses!
They used Google Trends to see which of the four houses was searched for the most in each state over the past five years and also polled 1,000 people who had been sorted into a house through the Wizarding World quiz and then grouped them with the states they belonged to.
Over 27 states were actually sorted into Slytherin, including Virginia, DC, and West Virginia, which was then followed up with Ravenclaw having the second highest number of states, including Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Only three states were sorted into Gryffindor (Utah, Michigan, and Connecticut) and we don't necessarily think this means we're all ready to rock green snakes on our wizard robes just yet, it still might be a sign of the times.
