Have you ever wondered why some toothbrushes have different colors on the bristles? Turns out it's not just for decoration, but is actually supposed to help you brush your teeth!

Thank to TikTok user @jmac8781 a TON of people are realizing for the first time that whatever is the smallest color on your toothbrush is the amount of toothpaste you should actually be using every time you brush your teeth.

Dentists normally recommend people use a pea-sized amount of toothpaste and even kid's toothbrushes have the same size of bristles to help them brush their teeth.
