You can never have TOO many grandparents in your life and a town in Indiana wants to actually give you "grandparents on-demand" and a $5,000 moving bonus if you move there!
Greensburg, Indiana may only be 10-square miles with a population of 12,000, but the town is hoping to attract remote workers with several perks that might be worth the move. Also not going to lie that housing might be super-cheap compared to living in the DMV.
Here are some of the perks you can get if you move in the next 6-12 months:
- A $5,000 bonus to cover moving expenses
- $2,000 in the form of gift cards to local businesses
- A yearlong membership to the local co-working space and the YMCA
- “Grandparents On-Demand”
The "grandparents on-demand" service essentially pairs you with local senior citizens in the area to babysit if you have kids or act as stand-ins for your grandparents back home in case you just need some familial love or $5 to buy yourself a snack!
