Shang-Chi Will Come To Disney Plus 45 Days After Its Theatrical Release

We're less than three weeks away from the newest Marvel superhero making his debut and it looks like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will ONLY be in theaters for 45 days before heading to Disney Plus!

In a recent investors call, Disney CEO Bob Chapek announced that the film will not be available on Disney Plus Premier Access the same day it comes out in theaters on September 3rd, but will be an "experiment for Disney to see how its fans consume the movie."

Now Disney hasn't confirmed if this means the movie will be completely free on Disney Plus starting on October 18th, but if you are concerned about theaters during the pandemic, then it might be worth waiting a little bit.

Shang-Chi won't be the only movie using this model either as Ryan Reynolds' Free Guy will also use the same model when it comes to streaming too. To learn more about the entire situation you can go HERE and check out the latest Shang-Chi trailer below!
