'Marvel's What If...?' Will Be Chadwick Boseman's Final Role As T'Challa

We got a brand new trailer for Marvel Studios’ animated series, “What If…?” and we weren't ready to cry during it because the show will feature the late Chadwick Boseman's final performance as T'Challa in the series.

In the trailer we see that Boseman will be playing a reality-swapped version of the character where instead of becoming Black Panther he actually swaps roles with Peter Quill and gets abducted by Yondu to become Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy!

Boseman, who lost a four-year battle with colon cancer in August, recorded his lines for the animated show, “What If…?” shortly before passing away and the series will now serve as a touching tribute to the actor and his iconic character because Marvel Studios won't be recasting the character.

You can check out the trailer below and get ready to watch it starting on August 11th!

Marvel Studios also released a poster for the series and it reveals even more stories we could get in the anthology series! You can check it out below!
