A galaxy far, far away might be closer than we thought because The Smithsonian is currently housing an X-Wing at the Air and Space Museum!
The Udvar-Hazy Center is currently housing an X-Wing from Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker asit's going under conservation and this might be the cheapest way for you to interact with a piece of Star Wars history.
The best part is that the Udvar-Hazy Center, which is in Chantilly, just opened up so you could visit this weekend and see the museum staff try and preserve the X-Wing.
The X-Wing will remain at the Udvar-Hazy center until 2022, where it will be moved to DC's Air and Space Museum for display.
