Microsoft Is Working On Using Holograms In Virtual Meeting Spaces

We're one step closer to living in a Star Wars movie because Microsoft has just revealed that it's currently working on virtual reality meeting spaces by creating holograms of each of your co-workers!

The new technology is called Microsoft Mesh and is being developed to allow virtual telepresence in VR and AR across the HoloLens, VR headsets, and your phone by creating 3D work meetings.

Microsoft Mesh was announced at Microsoft Ignite, the company's annual developer conference, and would essentially take your normal Zoom meeting and allow you to interact with your co-workers in a virtual environment like your old meeting room at work.

It's currently available in preview for anyone who has a HoloLens, but you can see a preview of the Microsoft Mesh in action below!
