I know a lot of people feel kind of "iffy" when it comes to having multiple credit cards, especially since I just got my first one last year, but Southwest is offering one of the best rewards I've seen for anyone who gets their new credit card: a FREE companion pass for a year!
As a special offer beginning this week, anyone who signs up for the Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Card will not only receive 30,000 Rapid Reward points, which you can use on whatever, but you also get a free Companion Pass that you can use to let your plus-one fly for free!
Typically, to get the pass, travelers must earn it by flying 100 qualifying one-way Southwest flights in a year or earning 125,000 points within a year, but signing up for the credit card gets it to you for FREE!
