Microsoft Has Acquired Bethesda Softworks For $7.5 Billion

Get ready to see ALL of the above games and franchises come to Xbox because Microsoft just announced that it has bought Bethesda Softworks for $7.5 billion in one of the biggest acquisitions in the video game industry.

Yesterday Microsoft announced that it acquired ZeniMax Media and publisher Bethesda Softworks, who are behind some of the biggest games in the past 20 years, including: The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, and Wolfenstein, and surprisingly they paid more for Bethesda than Disney did for Star Wars back in 2012.

Now we're super proud of our local DMV game publisher striking it big with Microsoft and while there's no immediate changes coming, you can expect Xbox to add every Bethesda game to Game Pass in the near future.
