Ruby Rose Will No Longer Be Playing Batwoman

This might be one of the BIGGEST shakeups in the Arrowverse since they announced the final season of Arrow, but Ruby Rose will no longer be playing Batwoman/Kate Kane in the Arrowverse!

Days after the show's first season finale, Rose spoke to our friends at Deadline and said that she would longer return to the role in future seasons. Her statement didn't sound spiteful to any of the show's producers and directors, but many believe Rose's injury scare earlier this year might have contributed to her wanting to leave the series.

Batwoman was already renewed for a second season to release sometime in January thanks to the coronavirus, but now the hunt begins for a new actress to take on the role.

The studio behind the Arrowverse, Berlanti Productions, has said that they are looking to recast the role with another LGBTQ actor in between seasons, but you can see the trailer for the season finale below.

Also I'm no casting director, but Stephanie Beatriz, who plays Rosa in Brooklyn Nine-Nine saw the Batwoman news like everyone else and threw her name out for the role and I can definitely see her playing a great Kate Kane!
