This Video Game Wants To Record Fan Screams For Their Game

If you have ever wanted to be in a video game then now is your chance because Stronghold: Warlords is currently looking for fans to scream in the game!

The developer behind the game, Firefly Studios, is looking for fans to record themselves “grunting, shrieking hollering, and groaning” so that they can put it in their game.

Normally video game studios hire professional voice actors, but because of the coronavirus they are seeking fans to help them out.

Now there are technical requirements to get your voice in the game: you need to submit audio files in a .wav or .aif file and you need to use a semi-professional microphone with a quality of at least Mono 16 bit, 44.1 kHz.

So if your computer has recording software just make sure you have it in those settings. You can then submit your screams to the Stronghold Discord server to get in the game!
