You Won't Believe The Real Reason How Triscuits Got Their Name!

If you have nothing new to bring to your conversations during your coronavirus quarantine then you're going to want to read about this: Triscuits apparently got their name from ELECTRICITY?

Over the weekend, a former staffer on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon tweeted about how he never learned the REAL origin of how Triscuits got their name and while many people responded about them being "tri-biscuits," the staffer wasn't convinced.

After emailing Nabisco, the makers of Triscuit, the staffer was told that the original reason why they were named "triscuits" had been lost over time, but thanks to the Internet we now know that Triscuits were the shortened name for "ELECTRICITY BISCUITS!"

Apparently Triscuit was originally run out of Niagara Falls in the early 1900s and were baked by "electricity." However, the interesting thing is that the company has now confirmed that this is the real story behind their name!

Somebody get this Tonight Show staffer to be in the next National Treasure movie!
