Even though sports are essentially canceled right now because of the coronavirus pandemic that isn't stopping ESPN from using old content to fill its programming schedules and that will now include airing famous Disney sports movies!

It started last Friday (March 27th in case you forgot what day it is) with The Rookie and will continue EVERY FRIDAY for the foreseeable future.

This Friday's movie will be Glory Road which is about a true story about a team in 1967 in the NCAA tournament. Glory Road will aire at 8:30 p.m. ET. Here are some of the other movies that will air:

  • Miracle (2004)
  • Invincible (2006)
  • Secretariat (2010)
  • The Greatest Game Ever Played (2005)

Now keep in mind that these films are also available to stream on Disney+ for you to watch whenever. Also when is ESPN going to play The Mighty Ducks!?
